As part of the Huddersfield Literature Festival's commitment to #keepfestivalshybrid, KLTV was commissioned to produce several hybrid streams for online attendees. This video series showcases highlights from this year's events. My team of colleagues and I managed the cameras and the livestream for HLF 2023 events to ensure each speaker had the most dynamic footage, making the videos more high quality and visually engaging. One of the featured sessions includes a discussion with the much-loved British actor and playwright Paterson Joseph. He shares insights into his celebrated career and delves into his captivating debut novel, inspired by the true-life story of Charles Ignatius Sancho. Born on a slave ship, Sancho went on to become the first Black person to vote in Britain. The conversation provides a glimpse into Joseph's literary work and the historical significance of Sancho's remarkable journey.
